I love this idea because of its sheer simplicity! (…and, truth be told, I also have a deep love of watermelon!)
Now I know, you could argue that the popsicle sticks are totally unnecessary (and you’d be right) buuuuuuut, they’re fun and make eating watermelon even more of a novelty.
A perfect healthy treat for kids’ parties!

- ½ watermelon
- popsicle sticks
- Slice the watermelon lengthways (so that you have a quarter slice) and place it on a cutting board.
- Use the tip of a small sharp knife to make grooves in the skin of the watermelon about 3 cm apart (this is where you are going to wedge the popsicle sticks in)
- Push the popsicle sticks into the grooves.
- Then simply slice between the sticks and that's it, you're done.
