Watermelon Pops

If you follow Healthy Muslimah at all, you’ll know that I am all about SIMPLE!


I love this idea because of its sheer simplicity! (…and, truth be told, I also have a deep love of watermelon!)

Now I know, you could argue that the popsicle sticks are totally unnecessary (and you’d be right) buuuuuuut, they’re fun and make eating watermelon even more of a novelty.

A perfect healthy treat for kids’ parties!

Simple, delicious and fun way to serve watermelon.
  • 1/2 watermelon
  • popsicle sticks
  1. Slice the watermelon lengthways (so that you have a quarter slice) and place it on a cutting board.
  2. Use the tip of a small sharp knife to make grooves in the skin of the watermelon about 3 cm apart (this is where you are going to wedge the popsicle sticks in)
  3. Push the popsicle sticks into the grooves.
  4. Then simply slice between the sticks and that’s it, you’re done.
